Canacre’s Regulatory Team, along with our executive, project delivery, land, and environment teams provide support for a range of regulatory application inputs and processes. We work collaboratively to support and coordinate regulatory approvals on behalf of our clients.

We work with our partners to prepare applications and environmental assessments with successful construction implementation and community input at the forefront. Canacre leads regulatory strategy, bringing creative solutions that benefit the natural environment as well as proponents and communities. Our in-house experts across North America assess local physical environment, aquatic, terrestrial, and socio-economic information to support assessment and permitting efforts – global reach, local execution.

Our team is experienced in assisting clients in developing a basis for engagement with regulators, communities and municipalities regarding an initiative or project at hand. In addition, Canacre prepares and coordinates applications, reports regularly on agreement statuses, manages documentation of engagement and correspondence, consults with permitting and regulatory bodies (including federal and state/provincial governments), and negotiates agreements with various public, private, and third-party agencies.
