President, Managing Director
Dan Babcock is a founding member of CanACRE and has significant experience developing energy projects in every province of Canada and several U.S. states. Dan has trained, mentored, and consulted for field development teams across several industries and in all aspects of land acquisition, community consultation, project implementation, development and construction. He has extensive experience collaborating with First Nations groups, landowners, government officials, technical experts and consultants to develop large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
General Counsel, Managing Director
Scott Oldewening is a founding member of CanACRE and is a lawyer with experience in environmental, municipal, real estate and contract law. Scott developed his expertise in permitting and project development in the power generation industry through working with many well-established international energy developers. His knowledge, experience and leadership have been instrumental in guiding several projects through various planning, implementation and permitting processes across Canada.
Director, GIS Services
Joel Fulford is a founding member of CanACRE and has a background in the design and development of GIS services and processes in both the private and public sectors. At CanACRE he is responsible for overseeing the growth of our geospatial, data management and web services in various industries including, renewable energy development, petroleum energy services, roadway and infrastructure development, and ROW projects. Joel is actively involved in project planning, business development, and R&D.
Director, Field Services
Paul Roberts is a Senior Right of Way Professional with over 30 years’ experience in various real property related capacities in both private and public sectors. His specialty lies in land services for government bodies at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. Paul has over 22 years of experience working in senior property-related positions for local governments and is an active member and past president of both the International Right-of-Way Association Chapter 29 and the Ontario Expropriation Association.
Director, Field Services
Tim Rallis has a wide variety of experience in both the public and private sectors in land services, project management, and GIS development. His strengths as a company leader have been developed and proven on multiple large-scale infrastructure projects with established international energy developers. Tim is a key contributor in early stage project planning, acquisitions, community consultation, business development, staff management, and new service offerings.
Director, Field Services
Georgio Panici has been involved in real estate and land services for over 25 years. He has experience in many areas of land acquisition and real estate transactions, both in private and public sectors. Georgio’s diverse background, which includes energy infrastructure, telecommunications, forestry and property management has afforded him the ability to work on various projects in multiple industries, such as ROW development, commercial and residential real estate, renewable and conventional energy development, and telecom service expansion.
Director, Field Services
Robert Thomson has 38 years of experience in real estate and land services positions related to energy transmission, distribution and infrastructure development. He has been involved in many of the major energy developments in Ontario, including nuclear generating stations and large-scale energy transmission corridors. Rob’s experience also includes expertise in expropriation proceedings, project management, local distribution lands, and First Nation Communities negotiation.
Amy Ngo’s experience in GIS, data management and project management was gained while working in both private and various provincial governmental sectors. She has also worked overseas with international engineering firms. The applications of her abilities span energy and other infrastructure development projects, provincial land fabric data capture, conservation initiatives, natural resources mapping, and environmental monitoring. Amy’s working knowledge of these industries, technologies, and processes are a significant asset to CanACRE’s clients.
Manager, Field Services
Adam Fulford has a wide range of experience in various stages of energy and telecommunications infrastructure development. He has been centrally involved in the successful development of many large projects from greenfield through construction in both the public and private sectors. Adam is involved in project management, site assessment and design, acquisition, permitting, and municipal and community consultation initiatives.
Deborah Howard has over 25 years of experience in senior project management positions in both corporate and crown agency real estate development. Deborah has worked with CanACRE since its inception to develop its risk management and document management services.
Deborah holds a master’s degree in Project Management, is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Real Estate Institute of Canada.
Dan Wilson currently serves as President of SSP Offshore Inc. He has been advising CanACRE on all aspects of its business since the company’s inception. Dan’s background is as a corporate and securities lawyer with 20 years of experience advising clients on transactional issues and ongoing strategic initiatives, providing both legal structuring and business advice.
Since 2000, Dan has served as a corporate development consultant advising various public and private companies on transactional securities issues and corporate development issues, including acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings, growth-stage issues and follow-up financings. Dan has also served as a director and officer of a variety of public companies in Canada. He is called to the Bar in the Province of Alberta (active status) and the State of California (inactive status).
